This Peavey half stack includes the 6505 Plus 120W guitar amp head and 6505 4x12 300W guitar speaker cabinet.
The Peavey 6505 Plus 120W Guitar Amp Head is great for hardcore or metal bands. 6 12AX7s in the preamp add up to even more terrifying punch and mind rattling gain. Includes changeable with footswitch lead/rhythm channel select, effects loop, 3 band EQ, plus resonance and presence controls on each channel. Rhythm channel includes pre/post gain controls and bright/crunch switches. Lead channel includes pre/post gain controls only. Preamp output. Footswitch included. 4, 8, or 16 ohms.
The 6505 Series guitar amplifiers are named in celebration of Peavey's first 40 years, (1965 2005.) While known as the 5150 Series, these amps became the undisputed go to guitar amps for scores of rock, hardcore, and metal bands because of their raw tone, relentless power, and road proven reliability.
The Peavey 6505 4x12 300W Guitar Cabinet has 4 12" Sheffield 1200 speakers loaded in a biplanar aligned, infinite baffle, 300W closed back cab. This Peavey speaker is constructed from high density plywood. It has recessed handles and heavy duty casters. 1/4" and XLR jacks. 16 ohms.

I have owned the 6505+ head and cab for about a month now, and honestly.. It's the best amp i've ever played. When I was looking around for a new stack, I played a Mesa Dual Rectifier, Burgera 6262, and a Marshall JCM800. This amp is better than all of them.The distortion is beefy and brutal, but still flexible. I can get any lead tone out of this thing. From Slayer to Journey! There is more than enough gain as well. And I never go past 5. The clean tone is not terrible like everyone says. I find it amazing! It's, once again. Flexible and shiny. It also has that crunch option. Which is pretty great as well! This is the perfect amp for any player. Buy it.
