For a size reference: I have a Gibson LP case (genuine Gibson). The interior length is 40.75". It easily fits my Gibson LP Standard. It appears that the 'Musician's Gear Deluxe LP Hardshell Case' is simply designed/made shorter than it should be.I suggest that buyers should request dimensions before they buy, and use a tape measure on their guitars.
